  • Hello everyone!

My name's Alex and I recently purchased a 1955 Børresen. She is currently in Canada and I will be shipping her down to where I live in the Caribbean in June. Her built with name is Tip and plan on keeping the name due to her prestigious race history. Attached are some pictures of her.

I very much look forward to interacting with other owners of classic wooden Dragons!

    Alex

Welcome aboard Didier ! Wow, I don't think you could post enough pictures of your Dragon, I've been thinking allot myself about also buying a pre-war cruising Dragon with the bunk configuration etc.

Hello, everybody. Baladin is a 1951 wooden Dragon, built in France and entirely restored between 2007 and 2009 as Dragon was initially ( with a small cabin ) . Since, she is sailing on Leman Lake.
I take this opportunity to let you know the " International Swiss Dragon Championship 2016 " at Morges ( Switzerland ) during the 1st week of June

                      Hi,
my name is Ulrich and I am new to this forum. I recently bought a dragon as a restoration project. I am not even sure about the age of this boat. Probably built between 1936 and 1938 by de Vries and Lentsch in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

All we know until today is her origin: de Vries and Lentsch, Amsterdam and pre-owned between 2000 and 2010 by a guy in Suffolk, England. I am still trying to get any information on her early years. At a first glance she seems to be in a poor condition but the boat is very complete (except deck) and substance is good. Hi all
I've recently purchased a Dragon, although built in 2009 at the Lagoon Royal Shipyard, Ukraine, measured as a classic (I'm not sure what the rules are here on that)

Anyway I'm loving it and so excited to be part of the class. Here are some pictures
